Accessible via the JR Suigun Line to Fukuroda Station, followed by an Ibaraki Kotsu bus to Takimoto (Fukuroda Falls) - get off at the last stop and it's about an 8-minute walk. Alternatively, take the Daigo Town sightseeing shuttle bus from JR Hitachi-Otaki Station on the Suigun Line (operates only on weekends, holidays, and during peak tourist seasons). Parking is available (both free town-operated lots and private paid lots). Approximately 42km from Naka IC on the Joban Expressway via National Route 118 and Prefectural Route 324. Show route

Please be aware that the Futamata Falls tunnel can be icy and slippery in winter, so please take care with your footing. Also, while the area surrounding the falls is rich in nature, be mindful of the wildlife that inhabits the area.
