Shinmiya Kumano Shrine is located in Kitakata City, Fukushima Prefecture. Legend says it was established in 1055 during the Genroku era, when Minamoto no Yorinobu prayed for victory in the Zenkunen War. Later, in 1089, during the Gosannen War, Minamoto no Yoshiie relocated and constructed the present shrine, making it an ancient and historic site.
