Aomori Prefectural Tourism and Products Information Center Aspam is a tourist facility located in Yasuka, Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture. Constructed in 1986 based on the redevelopment project of Aomori Port, it serves as a comprehensive center introducing Aomori Prefecture's industries, tourism products, and local performing arts. Its distinctive triangular shape, representing the initial 'A' of Aomori, houses an observation deck (13th floor), restaurants, multi-purpose rooms, a product plaza, a tourism plaza, a panorama hall, and more. Various events, including Tsugaru shamisen performances, are held regularly. Along with the Aomori Bay Bridge, it's a landmark of Aomori City. Aspam offers numerous corners where you can experience Aomori's specialties and culture. The first floor features a product corner selling fresh seafood and agricultural products from Aomori Prefecture, allowing you to savor the rich natural bounty and culture of the region. The second floor showcases and sells traditional Aomori crafts, offering a glimpse into Aomori's traditional culture. There are also corners dedicated to introducing Aomori's culture and history.
