Open from 4:30 AM to 8:00 AM, you can witness the sea of clouds appear with the sunrise. Access the Unkai Terrace via the Unkai Gondola, a 13-minute ride offering panoramic views of Tomamu Mountain and the surrounding scenery. Unkai Terrace offers drinks and sweets themed around the sea of clouds, allowing you to relax and enjoy the view. Even without a sea of clouds, the beautiful scenery is well worth the visit. Unkai Terrace is accessible to non-guests of Hoshino Resorts Tomamu. Access is approximately 5 minutes by car from JR Tomamu Station, with a free shuttle bus also available.
