About Mito Kairakuen Fireworks Display
- For Photographers: To capture the 'inverted fireworks' on the lake, use a low angle near the water. Slightly lowering your exposure will make the dark sky look sharper and the fireworks more vivid.
- Avoiding Crowds: The area is very busy. We recommend walking from JR Mito Station or using a bus. If driving, consider parking in a lot further from the center and walking to the venue.
- Suggested Itinerary: Before the fireworks, visit Kairakuen, one of Japan's three most famous gardens, or the historic Kodokan. Enjoy a day of cultural exploration before the night fireworks.
