Schedule
July 24, 2026 – July 25, 2026

Tenjin Matsuri is the annual festival of Osaka Tenmangu and is ranked alongside Kyoto's Gion Matsuri and Tokyo's Kanda Matsuri as one of the "Three Great Festivals of Japan." With over 1,000 years of history, this dynamic series of rituals is truly a "Festival of Fire and Water." The 2026 edition is particularly special, as the main day, July 25, falls on a rare "triple auspicious day" where Saturday, Taian, and Daimonichi all coincide.
