We recommend visiting during daylight hours to see the vibrant pink blossoms clearly under the bright sunlight.

However, to protect the National Special Natural Monument, entering any area outside the designated paths is strictly prohibited. Tashimagahara is situated on the banks of the Arakawa River, surrounded by large green spaces like Akigase Park. It is easily accessible from the Urawa area of Saitama City, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing nature walk or a light hike.

What to Bring, Clothing & Etiquette

As this is a protected natural area, strict adherence to rules is required. Collecting plants or wildlife is strictly forbidden, and entering or climbing on the fences is prohibited. If you wish to use a camera tripod, you must keep it outside the fenced areas. Please note that there are no shops or restaurants within the park, so please bring your own beverages. There are two vending machines available on-site for convenience.
