Originally named "Takane Ruby," the variety has evolved into even more vibrant forms like "Takane Ruby 2011." This red buckwheat represents a precious cultural heritage where local nature and agricultural technology have harmoniously fused.
The ultimate highlight is the blooming of the red buckwheat from late September to early October. The sight of the vivid pink and red flowers stretching as far as the eye can see is a world-renowned photogenic landscape. Additionally, during the blooming season, the "Aka Soba no Sato Festival" is held, allowing visitors to feel the vibrant energy of the local community. Well-maintained walking paths are available within the flower fields, allowing you to walk closely and feel the intense colors of nature.
