Yugawara Beach (also known as Yoshihama Beach) is a beautiful coastal area located in Yugawara Town, Ashigarakashimogun, Kanagawa Prefecture. This beach is characterized by its high level of safety and cleanliness, holding the highest 'AA' rank for water quality according to the standards of the Japan Life Saving Association. While the Yugawara area has long been famous as a hot spring (onsen) destination, it has also developed as a popular leisure destination thanks to its beautiful coastline. During the summer swimming season, the area hosts events such as dance performances at the 'Wai-Wai Stage' (coastal stage). While the evening offers a peaceful and serene view of the ocean, please note that swimming activities are strictly limited to official operating hours.
