Yokohama Landmark Tower is one of Japan's most prominent skyscrapers, standing 296m tall with 70 floors. As a central symbol of the Yokohama Minato Mirai 21 district, it is a multi-functional urban landmark that integrates a premium office complex, the Yokohama Royal Park Hotel, the 'Landmark Plaza' shopping mall, and the breathtaking 'Sky Garden' observation deck. Since its opening in 1993, it has grown alongside the development of Yokohama, creating a unique space where cutting-edge urban functionality coexists with rich historical heritage.
The site holds a significant place in the history of Yokohama's development. Within the premises lies the site of the 'Old Yokohama No. 2 Stone Dock,' the oldest stone-built merchant ship dock in Japan, completed in 1896. While this area once served as a vital site for ship repairs and maintenance, it has been repurposed and restored as the 'Dockyard Garden.' This allows visitors to experience the cultural legacy of the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa eras, where the history of shipbuilding and port culture is preserved right at the feet of a modern skyscraper.

The greatest attraction is the 'Sky Garden' observation deck located on the 69th floor at an altitude of 273m. Using one of Japan's fastest elevators from the 2nd-floor lobby, you can reach the top in just about 40 seconds. The 360-degree unobstructed view through massive glass panes offers a grand panorama of the vast Kanto Plain. Additionally, at the Dockyard Garden below, you can observe the massive structure of the 107m long and 10m deep stone dock, feeling the weight of history. The complex also features a wide variety of shops and restaurants for an enjoyable day of dining and shopping.
The view from the Sky Garden changes beautifully with the seasons. On clear days, you may even catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji in the distance, and at night, the city transforms into a stunning sea of lights. The Dockyard Garden serves as a refreshing open-air space, perfect for relaxing and feeling the seasonal breeze. Please note that operating hours for the shopping mall and various restaurants vary depending on the time of day, so it is recommended to check schedules before your visit.

Experiencing the panoramic view from the Sky Garden is a once-in-a-lifetime sensation. The overwhelming sense of height and space allows you to forget the bustle of daily life. Within Landmark Plaza, you can indulge in local Yokohama gourmet food at various cafes and restaurants. A stroll around the Dockyard Garden also offers a unique opportunity to connect with the city's maritime history while admiring the historic stone structures.
Located in the heart of the Minato Mirai 21 district, the tower is surrounded by large-scale shopping facilities, hotels, and event venues, making it a perfect hub for sightseeing. It is easily accessible from Sakuragicho Station and Minato Mirai Station, allowing it to be a key stop on a walking tour of the waterfront area.
The building is fully barrier-free, with elevators easily accommodating wheelchairs. For the observation deck, high-speed elevators are provided. For shopping and dining, credit cards, electronic money, and various mobile payment methods are widely accepted. A stroller rental service (called 'Babycal') is available, but please note that this requires a prior reservation and payment via credit card through their official website.
