YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN is a cutting-edge urban ropeway that turns aerial travel into a premium leisure experience in the Yokohama Minato Mirai district. The route connects Sakuragicho Station to Canal Park (UNGA PARK) using cabins with a modern and stylish design. Each cabin is equipped with a natural air circulation system and a modern battery-powered air conditioning system, ensuring a comfortable ride regardless of the season. At night, the cabins feature full-color LED lighting, creating a beautiful light show that harmonizes perfectly with the glittering city lights.
This facility was designed to integrate seamlessly with the cityscape, serving as a new landmark for Yokohama's Bay Area. Rather than just a mode of transportation, it was conceived as an "experiential" attraction that allows visitors to view the landmarks of Minato Mirai and the seaside scenery from a unique perspective. It stands as a modern symbol of Yokohama, showcasing the fusion of advanced Japanese technology and sophisticated urban design.

From the cabin, you can enjoy high-altitude views of Yokohama's most iconic landmarks. You will see the Landmark Tower, the "COSMO CLOCK 21" Ferris wheel at Yokohama Cosmo World, and the historic Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse spread out below. During the day, the view is a refreshing blend of blue skies, the ocean, and modern skyscrapers. At night, the illuminated buildings and their reflections on the water create a dramatic and sophisticated urban landscape.
The scenery changes dramatically depending on the season and time of day. During the day, you can enjoy a refreshing flight under clear skies. The afternoons in spring and autumn are particularly beautiful, with a striking contrast between the sea and the sky, making it ideal for photography. At night, the experience feels like a "night view cruise," with the glowing city lights and the illuminated cabins creating a highly photogenic and magical atmosphere.

The defining feature is the sensation of floating through the air, a unique way to move through the city. All cabins are fully barrier-free, making the experience accessible and safe for everyone. Thanks to the advanced safety monitoring systems and climate control, you can relax and enjoy a peaceful time regardless of the external environment. It offers a new style of sightseeing, providing a smooth transition from the Sakuragicho area to Canal Park.
Near the terminus of the ropeway, Canal Park (UNGA PARK), you will find many attractions such as Yokohama Cosmo World, Yokohama Cup Noodles Museum, and Yokohama Hammerhead. It is also easily accessible to the Red Brick Warehouse, Yamashita Park, and Chinatown, making the ropeway an efficient way to start your journey through the Yokohama Bay Area.

While the cabins are equipped with air conditioning, we recommend dressing appropriately for the season. As this is an outdoor-based journey, it is wise to prepare for weather changes. The cabins are barrier-free and accessible for wheelchairs. Regarding payment, please note that QR code payments (such as PayPay) are not available at counters or ticket machines; please ensure you have cash or a pre-purchased digital ticket. Using web tickets in advance is highly recommended for a smoother experience.
