The season typically runs from December to the following May. For the best experience, we recommend visiting between January and March when the snow quality is most stable and abundant. Standard operating hours are until 14:00 on weekdays and 15:00 on weekends. It is highly recommended to start your descent in the morning to fully enjoy the mountain.
Beyond traditional skiing and snowboarding, the resort occasionally offers unique experiences such as e-SNOWBIKE. The resort is also very family-friendly, offering programs such as free lift access for elementary school students and younger children (please note that a free seasonal lift pass must be collected at the ticket office).
Yakebi-yama is part of the larger Shiga Kogen area, which is dotted with numerous other ski resorts and relaxing hot spring (onsen) facilities. The surrounding environment is perfect for enjoying the natural beauty of Nagano in different seasons.
Since you will be active at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, thorough cold-weather protection is essential. Please bring high-quality ski/snowboard wear, gloves, goggles, and a helmet.
