The Uda City Historical and Cultural Museum, known as "Kusuri no Yakata," is a unique historical museum created by renovating the Hosokawa residence, which served as a prominent medicine wholesaler during the late Edo period. Notably, the museum holds connections to the roots of Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., featuring materials related to the mother of the company's founder, Yukichi Fujisawa. A standout attraction is the "Shoki Grand Signboard," which was once displayed at the former Tokyo branch of Fujisawa Pharmaceutical.
