Terayama Ikoi no Hiroba is a multi-purpose park located on a high plateau at an altitude of 247m in Satsumasendai City, Kagoshima Prefecture. The vast grounds host a variety of facilities, including the 'Sendai Space Hall' (a scientific exhibition center), the 'Youth Nature House' (accommodation facility), and various recreational areas such as sports fields and go-kart tracks. From this vantage point, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Sendai River flowing below, and on clear days, the distant Koshiki Islands floating in the East China Sea.

At night, depending on the operating hours of the Sendai Space Hall, visitors can experience authentic stargazing on clear nights. Popular activities include driving go-karts or mini electric cars, observing rabbits in the animal area, and enjoying leisure in the spacious grass fields. At the Sendai Space Hall, visitors can engage with science through space-themed games and exhibits. Additionally, the rest house features meeting rooms and Japanese-style rooms, making it a convenient place for groups to gather, rest, or enjoy lunch even during inclement weather.
