Tennei-ji is a historic Zen temple located in Higashidodo-cho, Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. Founded in 1367, the temple grounds are home to the beautiful three-story pagoda (Kaiun-to), which is designated as an Important Cultural Property. Zazen (seated meditation) and sutra chanting sessions are held every Sunday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 AM to 7:10 AM.
