The history of this ginkgo garden began in 1978. The owner started by reclaiming a barren mountain alongside a partner, working step-by-step to transform the land. It took about 40 years of dedicated labor to shape the current stunning ginkgo avenues. The garden's magnificent scenery and the passion behind its cultivation have earned numerous awards. Today, it is open to the public and beloved by many tourists seeking a connection with nature.
The greatest attraction is the 'Golden Scenery' of autumn. The sight of the ginkgo trees lining the 4.5-hectare area turning bright yellow is truly overwhelming. Another highlight is the 'Healing Hill,' the highest point in the park. From here, you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the Tarumizu cityscape. There are two benches located on the hill, allowing you and your companions to relax while taking in the breathtaking view.
The best time to visit is from late October to November, when the ginkgo leaves reach their peak golden color. We highly recommend timing your visit during this window. Additionally, special light-up events are held during certain periods. From dusk into the night, the illuminated golden trees present a different, more romantic and ethereal expression compared to daytime.
