Tinematsu Yaman Park West Garden is a comprehensive park developed near the summit of Mt. Tanematsu (elevation 258m), located on the southern side of Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. The park was designed to harmonize with the natural topography, featuring numerous playground facilities for visitors. Because it is situated south of the Kurashiki urban area, the elevated view of the cityscape is one of its most striking characteristics. In spring, approximately 1,200 cherry trees bloom, making it a premier destination to observe the changing seasonal colors of the landscape.
This park was established by utilizing the natural terrain of Mt. Tanematsu. It has been developed as a space where local citizens and tourists can relax in harmony with the natural environment. The park is beloved as a space where recreation meets nature, evidenced by the thoughtful placement of playground equipment that follows the terrain and the diverse seasonal flora that changes with the passing months.

The park features a variety of plants that present different expressions depending on the season. In spring, about 1,200 cherry trees bloom; in early summer, approximately 3,500 azaleas appear; in May, you can enjoy wisteria; and in June, about 13,000 hydrangeas are in full bloom. Additionally, the park is equipped with many playground structures, allowing children to stay active. Due to its elevated position, visitors can enjoy wide, unobstructed views of the surrounding landscape.
