With a history spanning over 25 years, various types of seeds are sown every spring to create a breathtaking, colorful landscape. This ephemeral beauty is available for a limited time from mid-February to May 5th, perfectly synchronized with the natural cycle of the seasons.
This location has a rich 25-year history of repurposing rice paddies during the agricultural off-season to create a beautiful landscape. It has become a beloved local tradition, where different varieties of flowers bloom in harmony with the local environment. More than just a scenic view, it is a place cherished as a part of the local cultural heritage, showcasing the seamless connection between human agriculture and nature.
The greatest attraction is the vast expanse of diverse flowers that change colors as the season progresses. The blooming begins in mid-February and continues through early May. During this period, visitors can enjoy a relaxing foot bath (ashiyu) on-site. Additionally, during the Golden Week period from May 1st to May 5th, a free flower-picking event is held, offering a unique way to interact directly with the seasonal beauty of nature.

The period between March and April is particularly spectacular, as multiple flower varieties bloom simultaneously, creating striking color shifts. We recommend visiting during bright daylight hours to fully appreciate the vivid colors. A visit during the Golden Week period (May 1st–5th) is highly recommended to participate in the free flower-picking event.

The area is surrounded by the Matsuzaki Onsen region. Matsuzaki Onsen is a historic hot spring area established in 1958. Nearby, you can explore cultural landmarks such as the "Namako Wall" traditional streetscapes and the Izu no Chohachi Museum. A visit to the flower fields perfectly complements a trip to the local hot springs.
