Takaya Shrine (Takaya Jinja) is a majestic shrine perched at the summit of Mt. Inazumi in Kanonji City, Kagawa Prefecture. Its most defining feature is the massive stone torii gate situated at the peak, which has earned it the nickname 'Torii in the Sky.' Takaya Shrine holds a deep historical significance within the local community. Because the path to the Hongu involves forest roads and steep slopes, it is essential to wear comfortable walking shoes or sneakers. The road to the summit is a forestry road, so please drive with caution.
