Founded in September 1990 as an affiliate of a South Kyushu Coca-Cola Bottling company, the winery was created with the mission of producing and selling local wines made from Yamagata-grown grapes. This history is closely intertwined with the local agricultural community. Over the years, the winery has built a prestigious reputation, consistently receiving the prestigious five-star rating at the "Japan Winery Awards." Additionally, its excellence is recognized globally, having won gold medals at the "Decanter World Wine Awards," making it a highly acclaimed destination for wine enthusiasts.

The facility operates year-round, though closing times vary by season. From April to November, the facility is open until 17:00, and from December to March, it closes at 16:30. Please note that on weekends and public holidays, the opening time may be as early as 9:00, so it is important to check the schedule in advance to plan your visit.
