It is named after Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the great unifier of Japan, who is celebrated as one of the three great benefactors of Arima Onsen for his role in its development. Nearby, the 'Yukemuri Square' features a statue of Hideyoshi, serving as a cultural hub that preserves the local heritage. There is much to see around Taiko Bridge. At the nearby Yukomuri Square, you can find the statue of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. A charming detail is the small Kappa (water sprite) statue located at the center of the fountain, a gift from Jozankei Onsen.
