The park opened on April 1, 1996, as part of the development of the Rinkai Fukutoshin area. Beyond its utility as a transit route, it serves a cultural role by providing a much-needed green space and waterfront environment within the highly developed urban landscape of Tokyo's bay area.

It is a highly convenient way to move between these major hubs. For those arriving by car, parking facilities (Building A and Building B) are located near Daiba Station on the Yurikamome Line.
Since the park consists of extensive walking paths, we highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes. If you plan to use the parking facilities, please check the fee structure in advance. The parking areas (Building A and B) operate 24 hours a day, and there are specific discount systems available for those presenting a disability certificate.
