SORA terrace is a spectacular observation cafe located within the Ryuoh Mountain Resort in Nagano Prefecture, perched at an altitude of 1,770m. The journey to the cafe is part of the experience itself, as you ride one of the world's largest ropeways, capable of carrying 166 passengers at once. The spacious, open design of the terrace allows visitors to feel immersed in nature. When weather conditions are perfect, you can witness the awe-inspiring phenomenon of a 'sea of clouds' (unkai) stretching beneath you, or watch the sky transform into a dramatic palette of colors during a breathtaking sunset.

As the cafe is located at a high altitude of 1,770m, the temperature can be significantly lower than in the city below. We strongly recommend bringing a jacket or extra layers regardless of the season. Please note the following information for your visit:
