Tokyo Skytree, located in Sumida City, Tokyo, is the world's tallest free-standing broadcasting tower. The structure consists of two main observation areas: the Tembo Deck at a height of 350 meters and the Tembo Galleria at 450 meters. It offers a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view of the Tokyo cityscape, where the scenery transforms beautifully depending on the weather and time of day. The highest reachable point is the Soralaka Point at 451.2 meters.

The first area, the Tembo Deck (Floors 340–350), features a thrilling "Glass Floor" made of five layers of 8mm thick tempered glass, totaling 4cm in thickness, allowing you to look directly down at the ground below. On the 350-meter floor, visitors can also enjoy "Tokyo Time Space Navigation" and exhibits featuring reproductions of Edo-period folding screens.
The second area, the Tembo Galleria (Floors 445–450), is a special zone accessed via a dedicated elevator. From near the Soralaka Point, the highest observation point, you can enjoy an even more elevated perspective of the Tokyo skyline. Whether it is the crisp clarity of a sunny day or the mesmerizing lights of the city at night, the views are truly unforgettable.
The view changes significantly based on weather conditions. On clear days, the panorama stretches endlessly toward the horizon. However, please note that operations may be suspended during severe weather, typhoons, or high winds to ensure safety. The night view is particularly famous, showcasing the glittering lights of the Tokyo metropolis. Depending on the season, special illumination events may also be held, such as summer night displays.
At the observation decks, you can experience the sensation of height through the glass floor. The "Tokyo Time Space Navigation" at the 350-meter level provides a visual and historical journey through time. The journey to the Tembo Galleria via the dedicated elevator is designed as a seamless process that heightens the sense of ascending into the sky.
At the base of the tower lies Tokyo Skytree Town, a massive commercial complex. This area is filled with numerous restaurants, shops, and entertainment facilities, making it a perfect place for dining and shopping during your visit. The development is tailored to the unique characteristics of the Sumida district.
