Shibakawa Beach is a stunning scenic spot located in Shibakawa, Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture, nestled within the Setonaikai National Park. Following a significant shark incident in the Seto Inland Sea near Ehime Prefecture in 1992, safety measures have been significantly strengthened. Today, a shark protection net is installed every year, surrounding the swimming area in a 'C' shape to maintain a safe environment for swimmers. Additionally, the nearby Shibakawa Park features Japan's longest wisteria trellis, reflecting the deep connection between the local community and the surrounding natural culture.
