Seibuen Amusement Park, located in Saitama Prefecture, is a theme park designed around the concept of a 'world filled with heartwarming happiness.' The centerpiece is the 'Sunset Hill Shopping Street,' which meticulously recreates the nostalgic atmosphere of the 1960s Showa era, enhanced by modern audio and visual technologies. The park is divided into five distinct areas, each offering different activities depending on the season.
The park underwent a massive renewal to celebrate its 70th anniversary. The entrance design was redesigned to consolidate three previous entry points into one, allowing the 'story' of the park to begin right from the entrance. A unique cultural highlight is the presence of a streetcar (Type 1050, No. 1051) inherited from the Nagasaki Electric Tramway, offering a glimpse into Japan's rich railway history. The park beautifully blends the charm of the Showa era with modern technological advancements.

The park features several distinctive areas. The 'Sunset Hill Shopping Street' recreates the 1960s with approximately 30 shops and restaurants, often hosting live performances. The 'Sunset Hill Playland,' which opened in March 2024, is inspired by international traveling carnivals. For a unique dining experience, the 'Tasogare-go Dining Car Restaurant' offers meals accompanied by immersive video and sound within a space modeled after a classic dining car. Additionally, the 'Let's Go! Bazaar' within the Let's Go! Leo Land features merchandise related to the works of Osamu Tezuka.
The park's facilities and activities change significantly with the seasons. In summer, the 'Wave Pool' and 'Lazy River' water park become popular. From early October to early May, the 'Fishing Land' area allows visitors to enjoy fishing in a flowing stream. During winter (mid-December to early March), the wave pool area transforms into the 'Snow Kingdom,' featuring an artificial snow slope for play. Standard operating hours are 10:00–17:00 on weekdays and 10:00–19:00 on weekends/holidays, though hours may extend to 21:00 during summer fireworks events.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of experiences, such as strolling through the lively Showa-era streets of Sunset Hill to enjoy food and live shows. For a more relaxed vibe, the outdoor beer hall 'Bakurai Grill' offers sets featuring items like bacon and sausages that guests can grill themselves at their seats. Other activities include mallet golf and seasonal activities like swimming or snow play.
The surrounding Saitama area offers many leisure options, including the Seibuen Velodrome, Seibuen Golf Club, and the large-scale Belluna Dome. Depending on the season, the nearby 'Yuri-en' (Lily Garden) also provides a beautiful natural setting for visitors.
To ensure a comfortable visit, please note that payments can be made via cash or various credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.). Some shops may accept transportation IC cards. Clothing should be chosen based on the season: swimwear for summer and warm clothing for winter snow play. The park provides a baby rest area within Let's Go! Leo Land. While general photography is permitted, please check local signs regarding restrictions on specific attractions or performance areas.
