This site was developed as part of Yokohama City's greening initiatives. It specifically preserves the achievements of the '33rd National Urban Greening Yokohama Fair,' maintaining a garden culture that exists in harmony with the local natural environment. The 'Satoyama Garden Festa,' held twice a year in spring and autumn, is a signature event that symbolizes the historical role of this location in communicating local nature and culture through botanical beauty.

The park features grand flower beds filled with colorful blooms and a welcome garden designed with seasonal plants. During the spring and autumn festivals, the scenery becomes particularly spectacular with a high density of flowering plants. Another highlight is the observation deck, which offers an elevated perspective of the surrounding landscape. The park also includes forest areas and shaded paths, utilizing the natural terrain to create a unique and diverse landscape experience.
The scenery changes dramatically with the seasons. In spring (around March to May), you can enjoy rapeseed flowers and various spring blossoms. In autumn (around October to November), the landscape shifts to autumnal plant arrangements. The best times to visit are spring and autumn when plant growth is most prominent. The garden is open daily from 9:30 to 16:00, making it ideal for a daytime stroll to see the vibrant colors in full sunlight.

Visitors can enjoy peaceful walks while observing seasonal plant life. During special event periods, the atmosphere becomes even more lively with food trucks (kitchen cars), stamp rallies, and 'Nofuku Marche' (agriculture and welfare markets). These events offer a chance to experience local food culture alongside the natural beauty. Walking through the well-maintained forest paths and shaded trails allows you to experience the changing topography of the garden.
