With an elevation ranging from 630m to 1,100m, the resort is highly regarded for its exceptional snow quality. Beyond standard downhill runs, visitors can enjoy various activities in the dedicated snow park. The operating season typically runs from late November to early May. During the peak winter months of January and February, you can experience the legendary high-quality powder snow that Hokkaido is famous for. From April to May, the resort offers special pricing for the spring skiing season. It is recommended to check the weather and snow conditions to choose the best time for your lift usage. Please note that night skiing is not currently offered.
In addition to downhill skiing and snowboarding, visitors can participate in various school programs and skill certification exams tailored to their level. Programs range from basic instruction for beginners to advanced technical training. The resort also features a snow park for activities like sledding. For those traveling light, the on-site rental shop provides a full set of equipment, including skis, boots, and clothing, making it easy to visit without bringing your own gear.
The resort is located near the Jozankei area in southern Sapporo. This nearby area is famous for its hot spring (onsen) resorts and beautiful natural scenery, allowing travelers to create a perfect itinerary that combines winter sports with relaxation. Its proximity to Sapporo city makes it an ideal destination for a combined sightseeing and sports trip.
As this is an outdoor winter activity, heavy winter clothing, goggles, and gloves are essential. While some gear is available for rent, you should bring your own hat and gloves. For payments, credit cards (such as Visa and MasterCard) are accepted at ticket counters, shops, and rental stations. For luggage, lockers and cloakrooms are available; locker fees range from 300 to 500 JPY depending on size, and cloakroom services for skis/snowboards start from 500 JPY. If you are participating in a ski certification, please confirm the meeting time and schedule in advance.
