The Kujukushima archipelago itself consists of a high density of islands, with 208 islands of various sizes scattered throughout the sea. The view changes significantly depending on the time of day: during the bright daylight hours, the shapes of the islands and the clarity of the blue sea are most vivid, while the evening hours offer a more dramatic and cinematic atmosphere.

Other nearby locations, such as Ishidake Observatory and Yumihariyama Observatory, offer different perspectives of the Kujukushima islands. These locations are officially recognized as part of the 'Kujukushima Eight Views.'
Access to the observatory is most convenient by car. As it is a natural area, we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and clothing suitable for light outdoor activities. Depending on the season, you may want to dress appropriately for a light stroll to enjoy the flowers.
