The site holds a profound historical significance. Formerly known as Kobamayama, it was developed in 1890 as a villa for Prince Konomiya Akihito. It also served as a residence for the Korean royalty, specifically the villa of the Crown Prince of Korea, reflecting a rich and diverse historical transition. In 1952, the property was transferred to Mishima City and opened to the public as a place of relaxation for the community. The park preserves precious architectural styles from the Meiji era, allowing visitors to experience traditional Japanese aesthetics and history firsthand.

Since the park covers a large area, we strongly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes. As it is a natural environment, please dress according to the season (heat protection in summer, warmth in winter). When interacting with animals or using rides, please observe local etiquette and be mindful of others. While bringing snacks and drinks is allowed, please ensure you take all your trash with you to keep the park clean.
