Okochi Sanso Villa Garden is a magnificent garden located on the southern slopes of Mt. Ogura in Sagano, Kyoto. It was personally designed and meticulously crafted by the legendary Japanese film actor Denjiro Okochi (1898–1962). Every tree and stone was placed with profound care to create a masterpiece of landscape architecture. The garden features a diverse collection of pine, cherry, and maple trees, offering a constantly changing landscape throughout the seasons.
