The Nissan Motor Yokohama Plant is a cornerstone in the history of mass-producing automobiles in Japan. The Guest Hall offers a visually engaging way to understand the development of the automotive industry, featuring exhibits that range from the history of engine assembly to the latest technological breakthroughs.

It has long served as a foundation for the Japanese automotive industry, particularly through its specialized engine unit manufacturing. The exhibits in the Guest Hall provide a multi-faceted view of technological progress. A standout feature is the "GT-R Gallery," where visitors can observe the high-performance engine's intricate details and the mastery of skilled craftsmanship through displays using actual components. Additionally, you can learn about advanced manufacturing processes, such as the world's first mass-produced variable compression ratio engine. Near the main gate, there are also unique car-themed art objects created using factory technology, serving as excellent photo spots.
The Guest Hall area offers beautiful natural scenery that changes with the seasons. Visitors can enjoy the sight of cherry blossoms in April or the blooming of Mos Rose (Rosa banksiae) in May. These green spaces near the Engine Museum provide a peaceful environment for relaxation. When visiting, we recommend checking the factory's operating status and arriving well within the visiting hours (10:00–16:00).
Through the exhibits, visitors can gain a deep understanding of engine structures and manufacturing processes. The GT-R Gallery, in particular, offers an immersive experience by using real parts to explain high-performance engine mechanics. For those unable to visit in person, online factory tour content is also available, allowing for remote learning or preparation before your physical visit.
Located in Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama, the area is a blend of industrial zones and residential neighborhoods. It is easily accessible via public transportation, with JR Shin-Korokusen Station and Keikyu Line stations nearby. Using a local bus from the station is a convenient way to reach the facility.
