Narita Yume Farm is a scenic tourist farm located in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture. Within its vast grounds, visitors can enjoy direct interactions with animals and taste incredibly fresh dairy products produced right on-site. The facility is also a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts, featuring a dedicated campsite, a dog run, and BBQ facilities, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural environment and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The history of this farm is deeply rooted in the region; its predecessor, Akiba Farm, opened its doors way back in 1887 (Meiji 20). One of the most culturally significant features of the park is the preservation of industrial vehicles. Specifically, the 'Makiba Line'—a light railway—draws significant attention from railway enthusiasts. Since 1993, a movement for the dynamic preservation of these vehicles has been led by the Rasu Jinin Railway Association, ensuring that these historical machines and the technical heritage they represent are preserved for future generations.

A standout attraction is the trolley train that winds through beautiful flower fields. These are authentic vehicles once used in mining and industrial sectors, offering a rare chance to feel the weight of railway history. While diesel locomotives are the standard, steam locomotives occasionally run, providing a special treat for visitors. Beyond the trains, the farm is famous for its high-quality dairy products, including fresh milk, ice cream, and yogurt. For those seeking more adventure, the facility also offers professional-grade camping and a spacious dog run for pet owners.
Narita Yume Farm reveals a different face with every season. From spring to summer, the landscape is adorned with vibrant blooms, particularly sunflowers in the summer months. If you plan to stay overnight at the campsite, ensure you bring seasonal gear. While weekdays offer a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, weekends and holidays tend to be lively with many families. Please note that the final entry is one hour before the official closing time, so we recommend arriving with plenty of time to spare.

This is more than just a sightseeing spot; it is a place for active engagement. The campsite offers both auto-sites and power-equipped sites for a comfortable night under the stars, along with BBQ facilities. For railway fans, watching or riding the retro-style trolley provides a close-up view of historical machinery in motion. Additionally, the sensory experience of tasting freshly processed dairy products is a highlight that cannot be missed.
The farm is conveniently located near many popular tourist spots in the Narita area. Its proximity to Narita International Airport makes it an excellent base for travelers exploring the region. The surrounding area is rich in history, featuring ancient temples and traditional Japanese landscapes. Many visitors combine a trip to the farm with a drive or public transport journey to other attractions within Chiba Prefecture.

As most activities are outdoors, comfortable clothing and walking shoes are highly recommended. If you plan to camp or use the BBQ facilities, please check in advance for any necessary tools or ingredients. Please note that campsite use requires a prior online reservation. Regarding payments, the facility generally operates on a single-payment-at-once system. When visiting the campsite, please adhere to rules regarding fire safety (no open flames), noise control, and pet management (leashes must be used at all times).
