Nanatsutaki Falls is a breathtaking natural scenic spot located along the Tatsumaki Line in Nakadomari, Aomori Prefecture. The waterfall stands approximately 21 meters high, characterized by a clear stream that rushes down seven distinct cliff tiers before flowing directly into the Sea of Japan. The sight of the sunlight reflecting off the water spray, creating a shimmering, diamond-like effect, is so beautiful that many visitors stop to capture the perfect photograph. The striking contrast between the dynamic, falling water and the lush greenery surrounding the cliffs is the hallmark of this location.
This area is known as one of the scenic spots selected by Shuzan Arakawa, a figure originating from the Satsuma Domain.
