For those looking to refine advanced techniques or connect more deeply with the environment, there are various schools and guides offering activities such as snowshoeing, backcountry exploration, and telemark skiing. The area surrounding the resort is rich in natural beauty. It is particularly famous for its soothing milky-white hot springs (onsen). When enjoying skiing or snowboarding, please ensure you have essential gear such as high-insulation clothing, goggles, gloves, and a helmet. Because of the high altitude, temperatures can be extremely low, making heavy-duty thermal wear indispensable. For safety, please follow all rules, such as checking your surroundings and prioritizing the person in front of you. When using lifts, please be mindful of safe boarding and exiting. Rental shops are available on-site for skis, snowboards, and boots.
