Kushiro Fishermen's Wharf MOO is a multi-purpose commercial complex situated right at the port of Kushiro City, Hokkaido. The facility offers a rich variety of experiences, including restaurants serving local delicacies, shops specializing in Hokkaido's famous seafood and souvenirs, cafes, and even practical services like a post office. Its prime location directly facing the ocean provides a refreshing maritime atmosphere.
The facility was developed as part of the revitalization of the Kushiro Port area. It plays a vital role as a central hub for both commerce and tourism in the Kushiro region, deeply connected to the local maritime culture and the abundant seafood traditions of Hokkaido.
Inside the facility, the 2nd floor features dining areas with names like "Minato no Yatai" (Port Stall) and "Kikaku Robata," where visitors can enjoy a wide range of seafood-centric menus. The 1st floor is home to various souvenir shops, cafes, and essential services. Additionally, the multi-purpose arena occasionally hosts special events tailored for families with small children.
From May 1st to October 31st, the facility operates from 10:00 to 19:00. Please note that summer hours may apply during this period. Since operating hours can vary by individual tenant, it is recommended to check with specific shops or restaurants in advance. In May, certain events for infants and toddlers may be held at the multi-purpose arena.
Visitors can indulge in high-quality seafood dishes at various restaurants or browse local specialty goods at the souvenir shops. Located immediately adjacent to Kushiro Port, the facility is easily accessible. Parking is available at nearby lots (such as MOO, Nishimachi, or Kaho parking). Certain event participants may benefit from a free parking period upon presenting a parking ticket.
