Kongoushouji has long been a center of faith in this region. Many historic buildings and ruins remain, preserving the local culture for future generations. The temple grounds feature several striking landmarks. The main hall enshrines the Enmei Koyasu Jizo Bosatsu, attracting many worshippers seeking blessings. One of the most impressive sights is the rows of massive Sotoba (memorial stone pillars) standing 2 to 8 meters tall along the approach, creating a majestic and solemn atmosphere. Other notable sites include the Gokuraku Bridge (a historic stone bridge), the Hachidai Ryuo-sha shrine dedicated to the eight dragon kings, and the unique Ochinko Jizo-do, each carrying its own deep story.
