Kobo-yama Park is a lush natural area located in Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The area encompasses the mountains of Asama, Gongen, and Kobo, and is designated as a prefectural natural park. Centered around Mt. Kobo (elevation approx. 235m), the park provides an ideal environment for hikers of all levels, including beginners. The highlight is the observatory near the summit of Mt. Gongen, which offers a magnificent panoramic view of Mt. Fuji, the city of Hadano, and even Sagami Bay on clear days. Additionally, the park is famous for its 1,400 cherry trees and is officially recognized as one of the "100 Best Cherry Blossom Spots in Kanagawa."
