Kitami Wakamatsu Citizen Ski Resort is a beloved destination located in Kitami City, Hokkaido, deeply integrated into the local community. The lifts run until 8:30 PM, allowing visitors to enjoy the slopes in a completely different atmosphere than the daytime. Specifically, it offers a variety of runs including a medium course (1,080m long, max 20° slope), an advanced course (693m long, max 23° slope), and a beginner/intermediate course (900m long, max 20° slope). The resort is open during the winter season, with the best time to visit being from January to March. Operating hours are from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with the special night skiing session starting after 4:00 PM. It is an excellent way to spend a quiet evening after work or between sightseeing stops. Please note that lift operations may be subject to change or cancellation depending on weather conditions and snow accumulation, so checking the status in advance is highly recommended.
