The Kamishiroda Rice Terraces are located in the Kitayama district of Yaotsu Town, Gifu Prefecture. This area preserves the quintessential traditional Japanese rural landscape. In 1999, this site was officially recognized as one of the '100 Best Rice Terraces in Japan.'
