Kiyama Park is a scenic park centered around Mount Hikuyama (Hikuyama), located in Nakonoshima Town, Hita City, Oita Prefecture. Mount Hikuyama is one of the three hills of Hita and plays a significant role in the local topography by diverting the flow of the Mikuma River. This creates a breathtaking landscape where visitors can feel the gentle flow of the river throughout the park. The area near the 'Midori Bridge' at the eastern end is a particularly beautiful waterside spot, famous for its clear streams, and has been celebrated in historical poetry for centuries. Spring (March to April) is one of the best seasons to visit, as the cherry blossoms on the western side reach full bloom, making it a perfect time for photography.
