At Jurizuka Beach, you can enjoy more than just swimming; it is a great spot for bodyboarding and other marine activities. The area also supports camping, allowing you to experience staying overnight by the sea. However, if you plan to have a barbecue, please note that open flames (direct fire) are strictly prohibited. To protect the environment, you must use appropriate cooking equipment. Please also be aware that surfing, jet skiing, and driving sand buggies are prohibited.
The surrounding Yuza area is rich with natural wonders, including spots to enjoy the majesty of Mount Chokai and the famous Juroku Rakan Rock. The town of Yuza also features various hot spring (onsen) facilities and shops selling local specialties. After a day of beach activities, you can refresh yourself at a local eatery or a nearby hot spring to complete your perfect getaway.
When visiting, please bring essentials such as swimwear, a change of clothes, and towels, as well as sun protection like hats and sunscreen. If you plan to camp or have a barbecue, ensure you use designated equipment, as direct fire on the ground is prohibited. Regarding transportation, the parking lot is a paid facility (approximately 70 spaces), so please carry cash. Additionally, the roads within the Jurizuka community are narrow, so please drive slowly and carefully. Finally, please respect local rules: fireworks and open fires (takibi) are strictly prohibited.
