Mount Inasa is a mountain rising 333 meters above sea level, offering a sweeping view of Nagasaki City. It is one of the most iconic landmarks in the region, attracting visitors from all over the world to witness its breathtaking beauty. It is famously recognized as one of the 'New Three Major Night Views in the World.' To reach the summit, visitors can take the Nagasaki Ropeway, which provides a smooth and scenic ascent from the base station. This aerial journey allows you to enjoy a sense of freedom while observing the dramatic landscape where lush nature meets the sparkling lights of the city below.

【Twilight to Night】
The most highly recommended time is during the 'magic hour' just before sunset and into the night. The moment the sky changes color and the city lights begin to flicker is a truly moving experience. Please note that it can get very crowded at night, so it is essential to check the last ropeway departure time (21:00) in advance.
【Daytime】
During the day, you can enjoy a high-angle view of the lush greenery, the beautiful Nagasaki coastline, and the iconic cityscape featuring historic churches. On clear days, the visibility is excellent, allowing you to see far out toward the sea.
【Aerial Stroll】
Taking the ropeway from the base to the summit is a highlight of any Nagasaki trip. The sense of openness and the view from the gondola offer a perspective that is impossible to experience from the ground.

The Inasa Park area includes various recreational facilities such as an outdoor stage. The mid-mountain park area provides a peaceful environment surrounded by nature. Furthermore, free circular buses operate from the city center to support smooth transportation to and from your accommodation.
【Clothing】
The temperature at the summit tends to be lower than at ground level. If you plan to enjoy the night view, we strongly recommend bringing a warm jacket or extra layers. Comfortable walking shoes are also recommended for the observatory area.

Please check the availability of ticket machines and whether cash is required for the ropeway.

As a major tourist destination, English-language signage and information are generally available.

No prior reservation is required for the ropeway, but please allow extra time as there may be waiting periods during busy night hours.
