The Hokkai Soran Festival is a community-driven traditional festival held annually on the first Saturday and Sunday of July in Yoichi, Hokkaido. This festival is deeply rooted in the history of the region as the birthplace of the "Soran Bushi," a famous work song used during herring fishing.
