The beach has been selected as one of the "Top 100 Water Quality Beaches" by the Ministry of the Environment, highlighting its exceptionally clean water. The Hasaki area has a long history of utilizing the coastline for daily life and leisure. Today, it serves as a major leisure base that preserves its rich natural scenery, cherished by both local residents and tourists. It is important to note that while clam digging (shiohirai) was once a common activity in the past, it is now strictly prohibited along the Hasaki coast to ensure environmental protection and compliance with local regulations.

The best season for swimming is from June to September. The atmosphere becomes particularly energetic during the summer vacation period when many visitors arrive. For those interested in surfing, it is common to visit based on seasonal wave conditions. Since the sun can be very intense during the day, we recommend checking for shaded areas or bringing your own sun protection.
Beyond swimming, the area is highly active with surfing and bodyboarding. You can enjoy various marine activities depending on the wave conditions. Furthermore, the adjacent "Sun Sun Park" provides essential amenities such as warm showers and restrooms, allowing you to refresh easily between your seaside activities.
Right next to the beach is "Sun Sun Park," a park and rest area equipped with restrooms, toilets, and warm showers, greatly enhancing convenience for beachgoers. Additionally, the nearby hot spring facility "Yu-po-Hasaki" offers a perfect way to warm up and relax after a day of ocean activities. The surrounding area is also excellent for scenic drives and nature walks.
To enjoy your time at the beach, essential items include hats, sunscreen, a change of clothes, and towels to protect against the sun. Please be aware that clam digging is strictly prohibited at Hasaki Beach.
