Flower Land Kamifurano is a vast and beautiful flower garden located in Kamifurano Town, Hokkaido. It is a beloved sightseeing spot in the Furano area, captivating visitors with ever-changing colors and scents throughout the seasons. The most striking feature is the breathtaking landscape created by a diverse variety of flowers that change their expression with each season. On these vast hills, you can spend a relaxing time while feeling the gentle breeze of nature.
The garden is situated in a magnificent location with views of the Daisetsuzan mountain range, including Mount Asahi and Mount Tokachi. This landscape has preserved the natural beauty of the changing seasons for a long time. To allow visitors to feel closer to the beauty of nature, the garden is open to the public with no admission fee, making it an accessible destination for many travelers.

The garden boasts a wide variety of flowers that bloom depending on the season. Most notably, around mid-July, the lavender—a symbol of Furano—reaches its peak, dyeing the entire garden a stunning shade of purple. Depending on your visit, you may also see dahlias, marigolds, salvia, and celosia, ensuring a new discovery every time. Walking through the vast grounds allows you to enjoy the shifting colors of the landscape.
The scenery varies significantly by season. While July is the highlight due to the lavender, flowers continue to bloom from early summer through autumn. For the best experience, visit during a clear day at midday; the contrast between the bright blue sky and the vibrant colors of the flowers is perfect for photography. Please note that the garden is closed during the winter season (December to February), so check the opening period before your visit.

There is more to do than just viewing the scenery. A signature activity is the 'Sightseeing Tractor Bus,' which allows you to tour the vast flower fields efficiently and comfortably. Additionally, the shop located near the main gate offers local souvenirs, agricultural products, and even hands-on experience menus, allowing you to create lasting memories of your trip.
Located in Kamifurano, the area is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes. Since transportation in this region is primarily by car, we recommend visiting this garden in conjunction with other nearby sightseeing spots to fully experience the charm of the Furano area. You can also enjoy beautiful views in the surrounding hills depending on the season.

The garden is vast and primarily explored on foot. As some areas may have uneven ground, we strongly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes. Since there is little shade, please bring sun protection such as a hat and sunscreen.
