Eiraku Dam is a beautiful site where nature and human-made structures harmonize, located in Kumatori Town, Sennan District, southern Osaka. The area is adorned with approximately 1,000 Yoshino cherry trees, which create a breathtaking spectacle of pink blossoms surrounding the dam structure during the spring season. Recognized as one of the "Osaka Green Selections," the area maintains a rich natural environment featuring natural forests of Japanese Red Pine and Hinoki cypress. A well-maintained 2km perimeter path allows visitors to enjoy peaceful strolls and hiking amidst the greenery.
Eiraku Dam plays a vital role as a water resource for the Kumatori area. Completed in 1968, it has long supported the local community's water needs.
