This area is part of the Tokachi-dake Geopark, a region significant for observing the geological formation of the earth and its unique natural environment. The surrounding landscape consists of rolling hills and small settlements that maintain a harmonious balance with nature. The greatest attraction of Chibo Pass is the seasonal transformation of its scenery. From spring to early summer, the grassy plains are adorned with yellow wildflowers such as dandelions, and visitors can observe the gradual melting of the mountain snow.
