While the dynamic landscape and the clear river can be enjoyed year-round, a visit in autumn is strongly recommended for those seeking the most colorful and breathtaking scenery.
There is a pleasant walking path of approximately 200 meters leading from the large parking area toward the rock formations. This allows you to enjoy a refreshing stroll while feeling the natural energy (negative ions) of the Inami River. We recommend taking about 20 minutes for this walk to truly appreciate the scale and beauty of the rocks. It is a perfect route for refreshing your mind and body while admiring natural sculptural beauty.
Very close to Byobuiwa is the "Azuki Onsen Mawaki no Yu," a wonderful spot to enjoy a day trip to a hot spring. Located only about a 2-minute drive away, it is the perfect place to soothe your muscles after your nature walk. The hot spring features a simple thermal water quality (tansui-on), offering a relaxing and natural bathing experience.
For the walk, comfortable clothing and sturdy walking shoes are highly recommended to navigate the path easily. As this is a natural environment, please be mindful of sudden weather changes. When using nearby facilities or parking areas, please ensure you have cash on hand if necessary.
