Asino Yamabiko Koichi is a stunning scenic spot located in the town of Kamifurano, Hokkaido. It is celebrated as one of the 'Eight Views of Kamifurano,' a designation that highlights the most beautiful natural landscapes in the region. The primary draw is the magnificent view of the Tokachi mountain range, which appears to loom large and close before your eyes. The area is surrounded by vast, sprawling farmlands, creating a sense of openness and peace. Located approximately 7.5 kilometers from Kamifurano Station, the journey to this spot is part of the experience itself, as the landscape shifts beautifully as you ascend the rolling hills.

The best time to visit is from April to September. Please note that the area is not accessible during the winter season due to weather conditions. Since this is a destination best enjoyed via a driving route, we recommend visiting during the daytime when the sunlight beautifully illuminates the mountains and the surrounding farmland.

This location is a perfect stop along a scenic driving route through the Asino area. By turning left from Route 291, you can drive up the hills and witness the landscape evolving as you ascend, providing a meditative and visually stimulating driving experience.
